Here are some useful tips from other Calm Radio members on listening to your "Added Stations"

  • The Yamaha RX iPhone/iPad/Android app. This is great for controlling the AMP and it’s input sources anywhere you have a WiFi signal
  • Visit http://yradio.vtuner.com/setupapp/yamaha/asp/AuthLogin/SignIn.asp website.
  • This will show your bookmarks and your added CALMRadio stations along with all the other aggregated vTuner radio sites
  • Via your television under the “Internet Radio” menus.
  • The front panel of your Yamaha AMP.
  • The easiest way to do this initially and to setup your AMP is to use a TV screen. The following is an outline on how to do this.
  • Ensure you can see the Yamaha RX page on your TV set (Internal piano background image).
  • It is hard to setup without doing this first even though it may still be possible.
  • Use the “On Screen” display on your main remote select the “Setup” menu on your TV and set your AMP’s IP address.
  • Ensure your IP address, gateway and DNS are accurate. I use a static IP address on my AMP so I can easily access the RX’s inbuilt Tuner webpage via a browser. Just point a browser to your AMP’s IP address and you will see the RX web controller page.
  • I have twice noticed an error where Internet Radio is not accessible on the AMP. An AMP reset by removing the mains power usually fixes this.
  • Using the Yamaha Browser/TV or Smart Phone app, you should be able to see your vTuner Internet Radio stations after selecting Internet Radio as an input source for a particular Zone.
