Enjoy Calm Radio on your Airable-enabled internet radio by following these steps:

Connecting Your Radio to the Airable Portal

1. Navigate to the Airable Service: Turn on your Airable-enabled internet radio and navigate to the Airable service.
2. Copy the Activation Code: Your radio should display an activation code. Copy this code as you will need it for the next step.
3. Paste the Code on the Airable Portal: Go to the Airable portal and paste the activation code from your radio to link your device.

Adding Calm Radio Channels

Access Calm Radio URLs:

1. Log in to your Calm Radio account.
2. Scroll to the bottom of the "My Account" page and find the "Internet Radio URLs" section.
3. Click on "View Full Table."
4. Look for "Direct URLs - Type 2" and download the list

Open the Downloaded List: Open the list that was downloaded, then copy the URL of the channel you want to add.

Add URL on Airable:

1. Go to the "Your Content" section on the Airable website.
2. Navigate to the "Streams" menu and click on "Add Stream."
3. Enter a name for the channel, then paste the copied URL into the URL field.

Check Your Radio: The channel should now appear under "My Added Stations" on your internet radio, and you can start listening.

Sony Dash internet radios use the dash.chumby.com web management portal to manually add custom radio station URLs. Once you update your dash.chumby.com account with Calm Radio's URLs, they will then appear in your radio’s Internet Radio menu.

Setup Instructions

Here is how to use dash.chumby.com on your Sony Dash device:

Step 1

1. First, visit the My Account menu on the CalmRadio.com website.
2. Choose "My Internet Radio URLs" from the bottom of the page. 
3. Select "View Full Table."
4. Choose either "Direct Links" (preferred) or "With Port 80" Authentication URL Type 2.
5. Download or email the URLs you will need to enter into the MY ADDED STATIONS menu of your dash.chumby.com account.

Step 2

1. Next, you need to register for an account at dash.chumby.com
2. You will need to add your device Registration Code to the dash.chumby.com account.
3. To retrieve your ID #, navigate to the Internet Radio menu (on your device) and click the right arrow
4. From the HOME screen, press the MENU/SNOOZE button on top of the unit. The command bar will appear at the bottom of the screen.
5. Touch MENU.
6. Select System and then select Device Info.
7. The registration code is shown near the bottom of the screen. It is a four digit alpha-numeric character set.

Step 3

1. From Calm radio's URL list you downloaded, copy and paste the URL of your preferred channel, into your Chumby account
2. The channel will now show up in your Sony Dash

We are happy to report that the Philips Streamium is compatible with all of our Calm Radio channels. Philips internet radios use the philips.com/welcome web management portal to manually add custom radio station URLs. Once you update your Philips.com account with Calm Radio's URLs, they will then appear in your Streamium’s Internet Radio menu.

Setup Instructions

Step 1 - Download Calm Radio URLs

1. First, visit the My Account menu on the CalmRadio.com website.
2. Choose "My Internet Radio URLs" from the bottom of the page. 
3. Select "View Full Table."
4. Choose either "Direct Links" (preferred) or "With Port 80" Authentication URL Type 2.
5. Download or email the URLs you will need to enter into your philips.com account.

Step 2 - Manually add Internet radio stations

1. Ensure that your radio is turned on and connected to the internet
2. Select [Settings] > [Registration settings] > [User registration]. The registration display is shown.
3. Press alphanumeric buttons on the remote control to enter your valid email address.
4. Press the arrow key. "The display confirms the automated email dispatch to your mailbox.
5. Check the email inbox for a message from This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with the subject Your Streamium Registration....
6. Follow the instructions in the email to complete your registration process on the Philips website.
7. Visit philips.com/welcome then click the menu Streamium Management.
8. Follow the online instructions for adding your custom Calm Radio URLs

Listen to My Media

When you manually add an Internet radio station you can now listen on your device.

1. Ensure that the radio is turned on.
2. Ensure that the radio is connected to the Internet.
3. Press HOME.
4. Select Radio --> Internet Radio --> User --> My Media

Newer Marantz receivers, using the HEOS platform, can connect to Calm Radio using Bluetooth and our mobile app for Android and Apple.

1. Install the Calm Radio mobile app by visiting the Play Store (Android devices) or App Store (Apple devices)
2. Pair your mobile device to your Marantz receiver (see your Marantz instruction manual to enable Bluetooth pairing, then select the Settings menu on your mobile device to select your Marantz receiver as the device to which you would like to pair)
3. Once your mobile device is paired with your Marantz receiver, launch the Calm Radio app and enjoy the sounds as they stream to your Marantz.

Older Marantz internet radios use the radiomarantz.com web management portal to manually add Calm Radio’s custom radio station URLs. This is how you can add our Calm Radio's custom HD sound-quality member URLs to show up on your radio’s INTERNET RADIO menu, which will then synchronize automatically with your radiomarantz.com account.

Step 1

1. Visit the My Account menu on the CalmRadio.com website.
2. Choose "My Internet Radio URLs" from the bottom of the page. 
3. Select "View Full Table."
4. Choose either "Direct Links" (preferred) or "With Port 80" Authentication URL Type 2.
5. Download or email the URLs you will need to enter into your favorites of your Marantz interface.

Step 2

1. Next, you need to register for an account at radiomarantz.com
2. You will need to add your custom Calm Radio URLs to the radiomarantz.com website either your device’s MAC address, or a registration code. Please check your internet radio's user manual.

Step 3

1. On the vTuner website, look for the "My Added Stations" menu.
2. Click "Add Another Station" to create a new station entry.

Step 4

1. In Box 1, Add a Station Name like "CALM RADIO - Solo Piano"
2. In Box 2, carefully copy any Calm Radio custom URLs you downloaded or had emailed into Box 2. You can use a High Medium or Low URL. High will require excellent high-speed internet bandwidth.
3. In Box 3 add Canada for the Location
4. In Box 4 add the genre, i.e...Classical, New Age, Atmosphere, Relaxation...
5. Next line should be MP3
6. Click the arrow to accept your entry

Step 5

1. On your internet radio, select or press the "Network" menu Then select or press the Internet Radio menu PLEASE NOTE: If the Internet Radio menu is already playing, hit the "Back" button
2. Select the Added Stations menu. Your new Calm Radio channel will show up there.

Harman Kardon internet radios use the radioharmankardon.com web management portal to manually add Calm Radio’s custom radio station URLs. This is how you can add our Calm Radio's custom HD sound-quality member URLs to show up on your radio’s INTERNET RADIO menu, which will then synchronize automatically with your radioharmankardon.com account.

Setup Instructions

You can stream from any of Calm Radio's mobile or desktop apps to your Bose sound system simply by using all devices with Bluetooth or any Apple device with Airplay.

Bose Setup Using Airplay

With most newer models of Bose Radios, like the SoundTouch Music System, you can now set up your Bose to play Calm Radio channels using our free Calm Radio app and using Airplay from an AirPlay compatible device... like an iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch...or iTunes player from your computer

After connecting the Wave SoundTouch music system to your Wi-Fi network, you can stream Calm Radio Apple apps from any AirPlay device on the same Wi-Fi network.

1. Download our free Calm Radio app from the App Store. Search "Calm Radio"
2. Open and play any channel from the Calm Radio app on your AirPlay device (iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch...or iTunes player from your computer)
3. On the Apple device, tap or click and select the SoundTouch system name assigned during setup. Tip: Adjust the volume on the device to 75 percent of maximum to ensure optimal volume control from the system.
4. Start playing music from the music app.
5. AIRPLAY appears on the Bose display followed by information on content playing.

Bose Setup Using Bluetooth

With certain models of Bose Radios you can also set up your Bose to play Calm Radio channels using our free Calm Radio app and using any Bluetooth-equipped device

1. To pair with a Bluetooth® device, follow these steps:
2. With the Bluetooth® device and the SoundLink® speaker both turned on, press and hold the Bluetooth® button on the speaker for three seconds to make the speaker discoverable. The Bluetooth® indicator will slowly fade on and off approximately once every second to show the speaker is in discoverable mode
3. Set your Bluetooth® device to "Discoverable." This will allow your device to discover the SoundLink® speaker
4. On your device, locate the Bluetooth® device list. Select "Bose SoundLink" from the list
5. If your device asks for a passkey, enter digits 0000 and press OK. Some devices also ask you to accept the connection. Your Bluetooth® device indicates when pairing is complete. The SoundLink® speaker indicates pairing is complete when the Bluetooth® indicator stops fading on and off and remains on

2. Choose a subscription plan
3. After upgrading, log into the Calm Radio music service on your Sonos app. If you are already logged in, change to another music channel to refresh your member status

Want to listen free on the Calm Radio Sonos music service? 

1. Visit our Registration menu
2. Once you've registered, enter your login on the Calm Radio music service on your Sonos

Installing Calm Radio on your Sonos

Calm Radio is available free on the Sonos platform. Here is how to add us to your Sonos:

iOS or Android

1. Install the Sonos app from the App Store or Google Play store
2. From your mobile device, open the Sonos app
3. Select the Settings menu and choose Services
4. At the bottom of this menu, select Add a Service
   
5. Select Calm Radio
6. Follow the instructions to authorize your Calm Radio account.  
7. The Calm Radio music service will now appear under the Browse menu

Mac or PC

1. Install the Sonos app by visiting Sonos Support
2. From your computer, open the Sonos app
3. In the Select a Music Source menu, choose Add Music Services
4. Select Calm Radio
5. Follow the instructions to authorize your Calm Radio account.  
6. The Calm Radio music service will now appear under the Select a Music Source menu

Please Note

Calm Radio channels that have been added to the Sonos Favorites or My Sonos menu from third-party music providers are "free" channels and will have commercials.

If you are a Calm Radio member, please use the Calm Radio music service to avoid hearing commercials. Or, if you'd like to add Calm Radio channels to your Sonos Favorites or My Sonos menu, be sure you are signed into the Calm Radio music service with your member login then add your favorite channels directly from the Calm Radio music service.
